Children's Ministry:
|
|
Our children's programming at Lakeview is centered around our Sunday School,
which is held during the 10:30am worship service. We offer:
|
- Infant and toddler care with our dedicated child care provider
- Preschool through 6th grade classes designed to bring the Bible stories to life with hands-on activities
- First Communion program for 2nd graders
- Bible Trek for 3rd graders—every child receives a Bible and an "adventure" course in how to use it
- Children's Choir
- Hand bells for young children
- Special activities include: an Easter "jelly bean jubilee",
Cincinnati Zoo visits, and a Christmas play
|
|
Youth Ministry:
|
|
Youth programming is led by our Youth Pastor, Ash Green.
We offer Sunday morning study for:
|
- Junior High classes that encourage personal faith discovery through the Bible, group discussion, and art activities
- Senior High classes to challenge youth through multi-media, group conversation, and Bible study
|
Confirmation classes led by the Senior Pastor are available to 7th
and 8th graders to prepare them for membership in the church.
Youth group meets every Sunday evening and offers an exciting mix of social, mission
and spiritual activities. During the past year the group has attended Ichthus (a Christian
Music weekend campout), participated in the church mission project in Florida, and supported
a child through the World Hunger program.

Spiritual Growth Opportunities for Adults:

Adult Sunday Morning Classes
|
Classes meet between 9 AM and 10:15 each Sunday. These classes are led by members who have
an interest in an area of Christian study that they would like to share with other members
and friends of Lakeview. Childcare is available. See the Events page for current classes
and topics.

|
|
Additional Opportunities

Various activities led by gifted members are held throughout the year. These activities
include all-church retreats, day-long women's spiritual growth events, men's breakfasts,
and opportunities through the denomination for church camp programs for children, youth
and adults.
